OTNhub Scheduling Enhancements, Members’ Consent Model for Communications, and Multiview Player for Webcasts
On June 29th, OTN introduced usability enhancements to some of our core services to further streamline your telemedicine experience. We also implemented a member’s consent model for communications.
Below is an overview of the changes:
OTN Requests Your Consent to Receive Email Communications
All OTN members and non-members (subscribed to OTN communications) should have received an email asking them for their consent to receive, or continue to receive, email communications from OTN. These emails include; member news, events, surveys, and information about OTN’s programs and services. Please provide your consent by completing the email preferences webform, made accessible through a link in the email. Members who haven’t provided their consent by July 20th will be prompted to do so upon login to OTNhub.
As part of these changes, non-OTN members will no longer receive OTN Update (OTN’s monthly e-newsletter). The newsletter will be reserved for member-only news beginning in July.
Ncompass/TSM Usability Enhancements
On June 29, NCompass and TSM were updated to support the following functionality:
- Users can select multiple systems to view event details (not just one or all)
- Only the creator of the clinic or a user associated with the host system can cancel a clinic frame
- Instructions and messages in Ncompass and TSM, including emails notifying participants and patients of scheduled event include more clear and concise language
- Emails to participants indicate whether a request is “Urgent” or "Cancelled" in subject line
- An “EST” time zone indicator appears on all time displays to avoid time zone confusions
- Directional arrows on scheduling calendar for tabbing to next and previous years in Ncompass Calendar
- Thirteen new event types included in TSM and NCompass
- The “Other description” field under “Event Details” is now mandatory
New Multiview Media Player for Webcasts:
In addition to the scheduling enhancements, OTN has implemented a Multiview Player for webcasts. The new Multiview Player is extremely versatile and easy-to-use and allows webcast participants to personalize your video layout, whether it’s a single screen video layout or dual screen with slides.
The OTN Multiview Player also includes the standard options you’re already familiar with. All options have remained easily selectable with a left-click of your mouse.
