Telemedicine Nurses - Register Today for "Telemedicine 101"!

In partnership with Georgian College, OTN offers Telemedicine Nurses the opportunity to participate in a "Telemedicine 101" course. This professional development opportunity equips nurses with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively promote and adopt clinical telemedicine best practices within their organization. Participants learn telemedicine terminology, how to conduct a clinical presentation and education presentations, telemedicine etiquette and regulations, and how to promote the adoption of telemedicine within their organizations.

This course is open to anyone interested in learning more about telemedicine best practices. In particular, OTN encourages all LHIN-funded Telemedicine Nurses to register for this course as an option for completing their mandatory training. 

Course Availability:

The course runs over a period of six weeks, and includes three 1.5 hour videoconferencing sessions, three hours of online class participation, and three assignments.

Two course dates are currently available for next year (2015):

• February 2^nd – March 13^th,
• April 27^th – June 12^th

Cost:

The cost is $135.00 paid to Georgian College.
