New Video Feature: Send Invite now enabled for multiple participant meetings

The recently introduced invitation feature to video visit just got even better. As of December 14th, OTNhub users can conduct learning and meeting events with multiple participants in different locations – all from the convenience of their personal computer!

Having the flexibility of conducting meetings via video gives OTNhub members more ways to connect and collaborate with peers than ever before! With the newly enabled multi-point invitation feature:

• Connect with multiple people: Conduct meetings and learning events with up to 20 people, both IN and OUT of healthcare settings, from the convenience of your computer.
• Quick access: Easily connect with colleagues anywhere in Ontario by simply forwarding a secure link from OTNhub.
• Easy to use: Participants can join in your meeting from their PC, MAC, Android or iOS device, wherever they are!

If you haven’t already taken advantage of the new invitation feature to video visit with patients, consider trying the multi-point feature when organizing your next operational meeting or learning seminar. It’s a great tool to use anytime you have to connect with many people in different locations.

Important: For privacy and security reasons, the multi-point invitation feature is NOT designed, nor should it be used for clinical care. OTN is aware that Hub users are interested in this functionality and we are diligently working on a solution to support multi-point applications with the proper safeguards in place for clinical use.

If you already video visit using your personal computer, the “Send invite” button is on your video console.
