OTN is introducing changes that will enhance your telemedicine practice!

Recent research with healthcare providers indicates that the way we currently offer products, services, programs and information could be packaged and categorized in a more intuitive way that is simple, easy to understand and could be accessed “on demand”, through one streamlined secure and trusted platform.
We are undertaking several initiatives to offer you more choice, simplicity and control over the telemedicine tools, products and resources that you need and want to support the role you play in the healthcare system.
What’s New - beginning this month:
- Streamlined registration: We are simplifying the registration path so it is tailored to a member’s role in the health system; based on whether they deliver patient care.
- Equipping you with what you need: Beginning April 8th, we will provision new registrants with the full suite of OTN services that most appropriately supports their role in healthcare. Services may include:
- New eVisit experience (videoconferencing): We are launching improved videoconferencing experience; intuitive interface, added features, accessible anywhere.
- Otn.ca redesigned: We have redesigned otn.ca – telling the public who we are, what we do, and describing OTN’s role in the healthcare system.
- New look and feel on landing page of OTNhub.ca: We have redesigned the landing page on OTNhub.ca – to present navigation into the hub that is directly aligned to what a healthcare provider needs or wants to do in their telemedicine practice. Take a look at how the page has been streamlined.
Some changes you may notice . . . and a few helpful hints:
- You may have accessed some documents/resources previously on otn.ca; the Learning Centre, Knowledge Centre, or Webcasting. You will now find all of these resources through the OTNhub.ca landing page we have redesigned, under the heading of Professional Development, which will take you to a menu by selecting eLearning.
- If you have bookmarked certain things, you may find the links have been broken. It is suggested you go to OTNhub.ca, view the new streamlined navigation, find what you‘re looking for, and re-bookmark those documents for future reference.
- The MEMBERS button is no longer located on our public website, otn.ca. Your new point of access for anything in the hub is through the OTNhub.ca landing page; look for the orange SIGN IN box.
- OTN Update (your monthly newsletter) is now located on the footer of OTNhub.ca.
- Once logged in to the Hub, you’ll have noticed your experience remains the same.
Watch for more enhancements to OTNhub.ca - your “go to” online telemedicine community!
