Maximizing the use of scarce specialist health care professionals

The use of Telemedicine for acute care delivery not only makes the best use of the skills and expertise of scarce specialist health care professionals, it also supports new models of care that align with provincial and regional health mandates.  Moreover, these programs are evidence-informed in order to improve the quality of care and system efficiency.
