eConsult wins the Innovation & Care Delivery Award at eHealth

OTN, along with its Provincial eConsult Initiative partners, took home the Innovation & Care Delivery Award for eConsult at the eHealth 2017 conference on June 5th. The award was presented by Canada's Health Informatics Association (COACH), and Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC). The Provincial eConsult Initiative uses an innovative approach to give family physicians community-based specialists and nurse practitioners access to electronic consultations (a request for specialist advice using information technology).
