OTNhub Operational Release 2017

On July 20th, OTN is enhanced the usability of our core services and the visual design of the Hub’s login page to further streamline your telemedicine experience. Below is an overview of the new features:

Personal Videoconferencing

eVisits just got easier for you and your patients.

  • Delegates may schedule OTNinvite video visits on behalf of their delegators. The delegators’ video systems will now appear on the drop-down field when selecting a system.
  • Delegates and delegators can join a patient at the same time for OTNinvite video visits.
  • Patients can better prepare for video visits by testing their system peripherals prior to joining a call. Links to the tests are available in the invitation email. They may also test their system performance with a new speed test that provides more accurate results.

For more information, please visit the eVisit support page.

Please note, on July 21, all members will be prompted to update their Vidyo plugin upon login to the OTNhub. The update will provide videoconferencing quality and stability improvements, and add support for newer versions of Windows and MacOS operating systems. Individuals joining a videoconference via OTNinvite will also be asked to download or update this plugin.
